However, they’re farmers, and in the final analysis, Greenfield Bamboo is best positioned to help investors build their own successful farms.

Real Estate

Greenfield Bamboo has the experience and in-depth local knowledge to find the right properties and subdivide them into long-term, commercially viable parcels. Relying on Greenfield Bamboo to do all the work saves substantial time for new investors, and maximizes the efficiency of capital deployment. Investors can purchase the quantity of parcels that suits their investment goals, while gaining the economies of scale as part of a larger farming operation.

Greenfield Bamboo starts by acquiring the right land, typically a former citrus grove, in south Florida’s farming region.  The 100+ acre properties are divided into parcels approximating 10 acres. Investors receive 100% ownership and title to their farms (with deed) and all tax benefits of the real estate investment accrue to the investor.

Assembling adjacent parcels allows for efficient and cost effective care-taking and farm management, as equipment and labor is easily moved and shared across the farms, to everybody’s benefit.

… but we do all the work.

Greenfield Bamboo purchases large acreage at good prices that meet our requirements for a successful bamboo farm, primarily having adequate water and well-drained soil. They then divide the land and sell individual parcels to Investors.

You will own the land and all the improvements, and you will contract with Greenfield Bamboo to do all the work, from land preparation and planting, to harvesting, packing and marketing. It’s a very cost-efficient model, and you need no prior farming knowledge or daily participation in the management of your bamboo farm.

Tax Advantaged Investment

On top of very promising long-term income and asset appreciation investment gains, all the tax benefits of owning an agriculturally-based real estate business accrue to you, including the ability to offset gains with depreciation and expenses, including trips to Florida to visit your farm.
